Live from "Chapter House"

I'm in Bocca di Magra, between Liguria and Toscana region, overlooking the sea, Apuane mountains, the park and flowers. There's a group of twenty brothers coming from Liguria, Czech Republic and CAR. 
Lots of sharing, happiness, good times, prayers and debating.

The Chapter happens every 3 years, it's a moment for checking and bringing into questions our Province's life. It begins with the choosing of the Provincial Superior and his Council: 4 brothers and the Provincial are called together to answer all the Province's matters.

We'll continue next week, going through to every community's reports and assessing our most important activities such Training and Missions, in order to give some directions for the following 3 years.

Saturday and Sunday we suspended the Chapter so that the brothers could rejoin their community  and celebrate mass. So I took the opportunity along with Brother Maurice and Brother Arland to visit Florence.

And we enjoyed the immense Beauty spread across the centuries of the Dome, Giotto's tower (so many steps!!) the Babtistry and the Signoria's Piazza.

Made me think of the Beauty spread across the world by the Lord, among men and women on Earth.
