A normal week!

A normal week!
Finally, after the Agricultural Fair and the trips, I’m enjoying a quiet week!
Sunday, February 24th, at the end of the solemn Sunday Mass, about fifty young people, boys and girls, made their Promise Scout. It's a beautiful moment of celebration, but mainly a moment of commitment. We prayed with them and for them to be determined in planning their life. I assisted them, after Mass, on the square, in full sun.
We are in dry season, and the weather is not only very dry but very hot too. Sunday night the weather rewarded us with a nice surprise: it rained! This is a rather unusual fact in February. The last time it rained was at the end of October, and normally the rainy season does not start until April. It rained heavily for most of the night and the morning, refreshing the city, and removing a little dust from the atmosphere.
Of course ... Monday I planned to renew the roof of our church, replacing the old one made of metal sheets, but we had to postpone until the following day. The old sheets (galvanized iron, very heavy, rusty) will be replaced with new ones, lighter, in aluminum.
Work continues, and life goes on!
