Jobs and jobs
There are times of the year when jobs pile up and are abundant.
Last
week we finished working on the electrical and plumbing systems
in Bangui. On Sunday I brought Maurizio to the airport, where he left
to return to Italy. I went on with Mario to Baoro, where I stayed this
week.
Construction work on the schools here in the area is finished, at least for now.
In
Bawi we rearranged some classrooms, thus obtaining two large
classrooms. When the school was built, there were not many students.
Where as now the school welcomes more than 300 children, who go to
school in a much better environment.
We did the same thing in
Kouisso Baguera, a village 7 km from Baoro: enlarging a classroom and
building another next to the school.
Here in Baoro, however, we have built two new classrooms in the "Les Martyrs Africains" school of the Carmelite nuns.
A
big thank you to everyone who contributed to creating the new,
beautiful and bright environments for the children of Bawi, Kouisso
Baguera and Baoro.
