Wires and tubes
During these two weeks I will be in Bangui, where we are beginning the electrical and plumbing systems in the new convent.
The masonry work continues with some volunteers who have dedicated themselves to facilitating in these endeavours.
For
now, Mario Mazzali and Maurizio Parola have arrived. Mario, now at home
in our missions: a Mantuan with golden hands (and an even more golden
heart!) always has a solution to the thousand of problems we present to
him.
Maurizio is younger, and is on his third work visit to Central Africa. He's also my nephew!
Last
week we started putting together the electrical & plumbing systems.
Saturday morning I left with Maurizio, for Baoro. On Sunday I
celebrated Mass in Bawi, and in the afternoon we went to Bouar to look
for some material.
In Baoro I also checked the construction and
rehabilitation works of the 3 schools of Bawi, Baoro "Martyrs Africains"
and Kouisso Baguera.
On Monday morning at 5:30 we left for Bangui, where we resumed work in the early afternoon.
